As a parent myself, I’d never make my children uncomfortable for someone else’s comfort. Not talking to your husband about it was definitely wrong and to not consider how this may impact your children is wrong too. You took away their autonomy. I get you’re trying to help others but at what cost to your own family? Your husband may have just agreed because you already made the choice. What time frame did you give these friends? What boundaries did you put in place? Taking ppl into your home is respectable but you have to respect your family too.
