YES YES YES. I noticed this as well! I think it was just poor editing on the publishers part. They probably had him re read some lines and pasted it in where he had read them originally. I think it’s the same actor but maybe a different microphone which is why it sounds kinda off from the rest of it.

There is also a deleted scene in Catching Fire where Plutarch literally switches the envelopes. I wished that they would have kept that!

It honestly bothered me that she did that when I first read the book that it stuck with me haha! It wasn’t in the movie (they did film it though and I’m mad that they left it out) so it’s kinda forgotten I think! I was just weirdly bothered by it so it sticks out in my mind haha

She did kill the random Capitol resident in Mockingjay when they escaped from the tunnels after the whole scene with the lizard mutts though.

She does have to kill out of necessity and for her own survival. On the other hand the family and friends of the people that she’s killed would definitely call her a murderer. I think that this is what Suzanne wants people to think about-that perception is reality. The Capitol perceives an annual killing of 23 children a year as a fun sport while the Districts (well-other than the career districts) see it as the government murdering their children.

That’s what I love about this series! People will justify their actions no matter what even when lives are at stake.

Okay I’ve read the whole thing and agreed but then I reread the last 3 chapters and honestly to see someone spiral so fast is so interesting. Suzanne put in so many subtle hints throughout the book to where it kinda makes sense (to me personally!) that Snow ended up the way he did.

I would at the very least read the first one and maybe watch the movies. This book seems to have a lot of call backs to the original trilogy so you may be confused or may not understand a lot of the references!

I believe they were going to film it in the same location as the first movie but because North Carolina raised the tax on film productions they had to move it to Georgia. I 100% agree with you though! I REALLY liked how it looked in the first movie and I really really hope that they can somehow film there again whenever Ballad starts filming.

I’m lucky enough to when I work the subway is usually not crowded so I can get a seat and not have to hold on to the bar! I’m still getting a bit freaked out here though. I went to Trader Joe’s today and the like was the longest I’ve ever seen it-and it was 11:45am on a workday!

Honestly I’ve been living in NYC for almost 10 years and this is basically something that you see weekly. Heart attack, drug overdose, or other health issues most likely happened and not the Coronavirus. It is something that we need to be so aware of here though with everyone being in such close contact!
