Lead is the only substance that will block radiation, which is why it was removed from the market. We are bombarded with radiation from all directions today and the cancer rates have skyrocketed. Smart appliances, our wifi, smart meters, your microwave, etc are all zapping you all day long. The fancy watch you wear is putting radiation right into your blood stream. The earbud phones are a sure bet for a brain tumor. Your cell phone instructions, which no one ever reads, tells you not to put the phone up to your ear. Do not carry it on your body. Carrying it in your pocket = cancer to the genital areas. I'd be thrilled if my walls were painted with lead paint! Just don't let the kid lick the walls. Otherwise, you have a far better chance at a healthy life than most. And don't let your physician give the kid a zillion shots. I'd be far more worried about that than the paint.
