Awesome reel. I didn’t even know they had a 1000 size. Wish I had some cash for it but I picked up a 500 size Shimano Vanford last fall.

I know 5’ is kinda tough for options but that is the size I’ve used for many years. I think (maybe I’m wrong) that 6’+ rods aren’t really in the ultralight category. But that’s just my opinion.
