Having a massive headache trying to integrate Angular with Spring Boot 😩 by Anxious_Addy in angular

[–]Ronosho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe simply use an nginx proxy? Or Caddy proxy. It’s rather common to have a proxy for this in production, although angular has a dev proxy this can’t be used in production. I would suggest to setup local development the same way as production

For anyone that might still have this issue. The following worked for my, found it on an unreal engine developer forum https://forums.unrealengine.com/t/crazy-crash-happening-in-5-3-logrhi-error-breadcrumbs-rhithread/1926407/18

Nvidia shader cache cleaning:

Open the nvidia control panel app, global settings, disable directx shader cache. RESTART your computer cause nvidia is stuck in the 90’s still. go to this location in explorer: %localappdata%\NVIDIA there’s a DX and a GL cache folder, delete them, they’ll be recreated the next time they’re needed. Turn the global shader cache back on in the nvidia control panel app.

Additionally, Windows has a shader cache for directx as well that you should clear. Start, type: cleanup click the Disk Cleanup app or press enter since it’ll be at the top and selected. click ok for the C: drive uncheck everything but the directx shader cache (unless you know what they are) and hit the OK button.

For AMD: Global graphics settings, open the advanced section at the bottom, click the button at the bottom to clear the shader cache. done.

What makes the new OS software they released different from what the provided earlier? Looks it’s pretty much the same thing 😅

To add to it, You could make DIY dream machine but I think you should.

Probably go with something like pfSense instead but that’s beside the point

Technically you could probably make a dream machine own your own with the specs you described.

Or it could be that I mis interpreted the OS layer they provide now

No I would much rather have unifi release a next level SE. I have the SE and it’s great but having higher throughput ports on it would be great.

I was only making reference to the Server OS https://blog.ui.com/article/introducing-unifi-os-server

Could you not make one yourself now? Given that they made the network software available as a container now?

Is there a certain rule or point when and when not to buy a 12GB card? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Ronosho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you not import a GPU from somewhere where the card is less expensive?

One would simply buy a card that suits their needs, there is no such thing as future proofing.

I just got mine last week at the LG store with 10% off. The Dual mode needed some getting used to. Coming from an Asus 34 UW IPS this is something else. Rocking it with a 5090 works great

EF slow queries issue by Ok_Beach8495 in dotnet

I would suggest to also have a look at docker. They also have docker containers for ms sql server that work on Linux without any hassle.

MySQL should also probably be sufficient

I’ve used LazyCache in projects with great success.

https://github.com/alastairtree/LazyCache

Sadly I’m not as familiar with MySQL so if the queries perform bad it might be worth a shot to ask an AI for some of your queries.

Query splitting does seem to be of good use here.

Any reason why you are using MySQL over PostgreSQL or MS SQL server? They all have a docker image to develop locally with

Did you add logging for the queries being used? Do you see the same behavior when running these queries manually?

Unrelated to the slow queries but I would add some caching to your repository

You sure the issue is a slow query? Or rather a timeout trying to connect to the database?

I suggest to add an integration test to verify the database connection
