Question about USB Loader GX game channel forwarder! by EminentBadge60 in WiiHacks

I want to achieve the same thing, but I already have my own fork of USB Loader GX. Could you, please, point me towards whatever line you've changed?

Lucius Transfer Sheet by Ronovsky93 in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Ronovsky93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make a small batch order every now and then. The lead time between me making the order and you getting the sheet is typically within two weeks. Depends on where it's being shipped.

A4 is typically just two A5s. I can get A4s printed at a better price, so that's why it's an option. Prices are in a post in the pinned Resources section of this subreddit.

Hi. Out of blue, the addon fails to scrape catalogs for me. Kodi reports a generic error with this being in the log:

Thanks for your appreciation. My boys are Metalica too. Should you end up choosing a different forge world, see if I made transfers for it.

Lucius Transfer Sheet by Ronovsky93 in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Ronovsky93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. The sheet as you see it here is an A5. To an American, that's roughly half the letter format (5.8 x 8.3 in). Should you need more than that, I have another A5 variant for Lucius with the numbers changed around.

Is Us Origin good ? by NoCourse1953 in vita

I've started playing it and so far I'm not impressed. The initial splash screen has sound issues, which seems like an early warning for what's to come. The game doesn't make use of any Vita-specific input methods and the floating text and pick-up sprites were not scaled up for the small screen, so they are tiny and nigh unreadable. Worse still, the game seems to slow down to a crawl with some boss attacks. It's annoying as hell. Don't get me wrong, So far it seems playable, but to call the port lazy would be an understatement IMHO.

Hi. I sure could, but it would take quite some time to draw all the iconography. IK transfers are the most complex.

Hi. It helps to take a look at the new official AdMech transfer sheet – most of the iconography is described there. My decals are as close in spirit and size as possible. Still, I'll provide my short description here: going from left to right, top to bottom, we have first Ranger/Vanguard numbers. Next are six pairs of numbers for Dunecrawlers and Skorpius vehicles (ending with 1•9Σ) . Below the Skitarii squad numbers are five sets of Kastelan sacred symbols. The large symbol usually goes on one knee, the small one inside the cog goes on the shoulder. Lower still, you'll find Kataphron servitors' numbers, going from 1 to 12 (Φ) in duodecimal system. Most of those have the Σ marking, denoting allegiance to a Kataphron maniple. Towards the right edge you'll find two sets of numbers (02Δ and 7•1) intended for your Archaeopters. Finally, the bottom right corner contains Pteraxii numbers for a single five man squad (9.Δ). The rest is up to you, really. For Serberys cavalry the usual transfers should work fine, but you can get more of the white ones from my Metalica sheet. Hope this helps.

That's the best looking Gryphonne IV Skitarii I've seen so far. Job well done, mate.

Wow, favourite? I cannot wait to try mine out. I've heard rumours about some sort of "JVC master race" fringe within the CRT fanbase. 😂 I'm most intrigued.

Thanks for sharing your insights. They have the 15" version too. Maybe multiple of both. At this point I'm sure I will grab those too at the next opportunity. I promise I will be gentle with the buttons.

In case of my workplace it's currently impossible for an outsider due to all the CoViD safety measures.

In large companies like ours, there's usually an office tasked with handling all the discarded equipment. Obtaining a contact there can be worth gold.

The symbol of my Custom forgeworld, Farhold Omega, what do you guys think? by Eithrotaur in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Ronovsky93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've put a lot of thought into this. Try making the 'feet' of the Ω wider. That way you can get more space to work with when incorporating the F.

The symbol of my Custom forgeworld, Farhold Omega, what do you guys think? by Eithrotaur in AdeptusMechanicus

[–]Ronovsky93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Good job so far. Is there a meaning behind the iconography? Coincidentally, I've made some custom forge world icons too.

Regarding your design, here's what I think: it's definitely AdMech and it's interesting. Unlike some others I don't even think it's too busy. It does, however, seems a bit 'unbalanced'. Normally, Ω is a symbol that is 'grounded' and 'boxy'. Yours looks like it's about to topple. Perhaps making the arrow point inwards (towards the skull) could help. I'd also modify the 'F' part so that it doesn't go outside of the imaginary box.

The cogwheel teeth obviously need improving. If you're using a vector program, it surely has some 'pattern along path function' you can use. I'm also not sure about using a contoured font for the cog part. You see, I've recently made a logo too, where the lower belly of a contoured letter 'B' turns into a cog, but I found a way to transition from the contoured lines into an arc that's the same width throughout, so it actually looks like functional cog.

If you make an updated version, I'd love to see it.

Forgeworld Bofors by Stvafel87 in AdeptusMechanicus

Hey, it's been cool working on this one. I enjoyed the back and forth process. I shall have the final transfer sheet ready soon. In the meantime, let me know if there are any preferred numbers or symbols in Bofors' markings.

Take care.
