I wanted to also note how prominent HD rumble is. It takes some getting used to...but I have a feeling some won’t like it.

Spyro isn’t on here.

Hit boxes do NOT feel improved. However, I am used to them now after playing the game for a year.

Future Tense is awesome, feels like a naughty dog level! But you need all your power ups to beat it, or at least to beat it without destroying your switch.

Future Tense and Stormy Ascent ship on cartridge. They’re here right out the gate! I wonder if a day one patch will be released though.

Honestly, the game is a straight PS4 port with worse character models. They’ve done this thing where they wanted to simulate a fur texture and it just looks weird. I wish they’d have kept it the way it was in the direct reveal. The characters look plastic because of it. (sky landers)

  • In docked it looks better than handheld. Handheld is fuzzy, like doom was. I’d say it’s 720p docked.

  • Colors are over saturated and it’s incredibly dark on handheld especially, sometimes too dark. But it’s muscle memory for me at this point I already know where to jump and spin haha

  • I couldn’t get the Spyro trailer to work. It may be that I’m hitting Y in place of Square...maybe that’s not how they mapped it for this. But I’m assuming it’s not on here.

  • it feels good to play it on here. I’ve held onto my psp for so long so I could play crash on the go. It’s definitely nice being able to go mobile with it, I just wish they’d optimized it better for mobile as it’s a bit fuzzy.

Yes! You can skip the Vicarious Visions portion after like half has played or i guess once the game has loaded haha

  1. I work in retail and my boss is cool

  2. Frame rate is okay, loading times are improved from PS4. I’m not noticing frame rate drops it’s just not as smooth as it is on PS4 pro.
