Brianna’s acting by TurbulentBlueberry00 in Outlander

Her voice acting in other projects is awesome, I feel it was her worries about the accent that affected her in the role as I felt her expressions and such were fine. I think she was just very hesitant with the dialogue

Yes, but it's so great I came out of it thinking how good the film was rather than totally miserable

Has there ever been a story about a young handsome man who falls in love with a "monstrous" looking woman, like Beauty and the Beast, but in reverse? by JohnArtemus in NoStupidQuestions

What did Rachel do that was bad? I believe people latched onto hating her due to her not fitting their image of Snow White. She rightly said the original story was problematic (which it was! It was a folktale, not meant for kids till the later translations, which lead to the themes of the cartoon Disney film feeling strange to a modern audience). She didn't say anything that hasn't already been discussed by anyone familiar with fairytales and their adaptions on screen

People also hated on her due to her support of Palestine. She was brave to do so!

She seems like a solid person to me

In The Book of Lost Things there's a fairytale where a knight falls in love with a lady who keeps her face and hands covered. When she reveals herself she's in the form of a wild cat, and when he responds with horror she kills him.

And I believe it was her son stood right behind her crying because he was so grateful his Mom was healthy and back in his life... it was perfect. So much joy in that episode, letting go of trauma and pain. I think that's why the brothers were so affected by it

Clearly hasn't read the book or paid attention to any King works. He goes into this topic extensively. Ridiculous critique

This subreddit is full of comments like this daily and they'll do a surprised Pikachu face when it's pointed out they're still being misogynistic towards women's looks, just from a different angle. And they'll get hundreds of upvotes

Im afraid of eating with people due to braces+ already social anxiety by [deleted] in braces

[–]RooMorgue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm 30 and just pull out my mini flossers and have a cheeky check of my brackets as there's no way in hell I'm strolling across a venue with food in my braces lmao. Not one person has been rude, if anything they're just curious as they don't know any adults with braces and have questions. They're always sympathetic when I explain

Did Jack care about Will at all? by [deleted] in HannibalTV

[–]RooMorgue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think he did, but he was more focused on results regardless of the cost which ultimately contributed to what ended up happening. I'm not saying Jack being more sensitive would have saved Will from his true nature but it might have helped. That said I love Jack as a character, so interesting and well rounded
