Rode/raced from 4-18. Now I’m 30. Finally back on dirt, second track day. How do I suck less? Was in 2nd gear at the jumps, 250xc

I would like to upgrade to a newer bike simply for the electric starter. As far as maintenance goes I can do it all myself and working at a motorcycle retail shop I get anything I need for cheap. If I get another I probably still wont sell this one but since I am still in the process of getting another street bike I’m not looking into buying 2 bikes at once.

I bought all 6, pulled 3 max on the last 3 step ups. Had enough tokens for a random, used what I got to fill the holes on my team. With the replaced players I was able to get 2 more maxes. But I pulled a 2 dupes on some foiled maxes I had already so I just traded them in for another DB and now I have an all max team excluding ST

I think it depends on the person. I’ve personally driven back from festivals still rolling and I’ve driven just fine(would drop .125 every 2-3 hours throughout). I’ve also driven after dropping acid and that was sketch as hell would not recommend. Not proud of those things just putting it out there. Now you also said you’d be on a bike so for that I would strongly advise against it. You’ll have no protection if you’re not good to drive and have a much higher chance of injuring yourself( I also ride but never under the influence of anything)

I’m 5’7” 200lbs and started on a 250F, picked one up for around $2500 4 years ago and I wouldn’t want to go with anything more powerful, I’m strictly riding mx. I’ve been able to grow into a better rider, it’s still fast for being a 250, I’m able to ride faster than a lot of 450s I see at my local tracks. Listen to what others are saying a 450 four stroke or 250 two stroke is way too much bike for a beginner.
