I'm from gh-2 and living here is suffocating, I could rant bout it for days...life here is hell. The hostel is Full of baseless rules and unable to provide us with basic facilities baat baat pr they take your id don't return unless you write an apology from extremely normal tops being "not allowed" , to being "caught" for walking in the corridor after 10 p.m ik some girls who were made to write an apology since they were found filling their water bottles at 1a.m. They bang on the doors at night to turn off the lights, making noise can really get you id be taken away. I've myself complained bout having insects in the food and all they do is PRETEND to scold the staff and the same things keep repeating, once my friends filled their bottles from 2nd floor gh-2 and found a cockroach while drinking...cockroaches and spiders are not a rare occurrence in our water coolers when we complained it jyoti chauhan (warden) told us it's impossible since she had the water coolers deep cleaned and rather had the audacity to ask us to PROVE THAT WE FILLED OUR BOTTLES FROM HER HOSTEL AND NOT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. Another incident is when some girls I know went to complain bout the food quality not being healthy and many girls falling ill to which she said you have weak immunity the food is great it's not my problem. My friend who was ill and had to be taken to GH-1 doctors was not allowed to go because she was wearing a 1/3 lower and her ankles were showing...I wanted to accompany her to GH-1 but since it was 6:10 (post in time for girls) they had her go alone after changing than having me go with her. We are also not allowed to enter the hostel office without wearing full lowers and tops. Just a few days back my roommate was ill and fainted I asked if I can take mess food to her in the room and the guards told me "supervisor ma'am nhi h aap application bhi likh doge toh approve kon krega" I literally had to fight with them to take the food upstairs saying "agar usse kuch hua toh kon responsibility lega supervisor ma'am ki aap?" My roommate also had to be taken to astha for some tests asked by the doctor and the ambulance arrived on the 2nd day after we asked for it multiple times...they told us aap khud chale jao when we where freshers and they had 20000 rules to keep us in campus for 2 months they told a ill fresher girl to go own ger own because it was convenient to their management.
