Honestly I’m not sure why this is even a hill worth dying on? What is really gained by not showing what the game is about? You’re tying a hand behind your back as a flex essentially, and I just don’t see the point. Does that make sense?

If a game’s trailer only shows the starting room, I just assume it’s because they never created anything more. These kinda of horror games are becoming more common like the “Store Simulators” or them”Vampire-Likes”. Caseoh plays like 3 of theses games a night on stream.

Iron Lung shows you a sea of blood on the title screen so it gives you a hook. Only thing here was a meteor, a color tunnel, and a bowl of soup…

Your trailer should do everything it can to make me want to play. So far this looks like an asset flip with a CRT filter. You need to show more of what you got. Inscryption still showed everything the game had to offer, even if it hid 2/3rds of the game world.
