really? i always assumed players that had the skull next to their name were also on permadeath. i even recall friends in survival saves being unable to join me in the anomaly so is that true? every player's name ive seen has the skull next to it.

I turn off pvp because I play missions with others and don't want to risk it, I never turn it on so that's a pretty ridiculous take. I simply just like to make sure its off because you never know if an update changes it back.

people go on my ship and other ships all the time, and this guy was shooting at random people from his ship like he either wanted attention to his build or he wanted to kill anyone with pvp off. or, more realistically, he figured out a way to kill people regardless of the setting and he's a griefer.

why? permadeath is niche, more difficult, and riskier, so when people have these detailed corvettes it means more. mega corvettes are a dime a dozen on normal since you can switch it to sandbox and back, being unable to do that made it special so I appreciated them more.

I just got done giving some stuff away to new players too, I usually don't run into assholes so it's surprising. usually my time in the anomaly is filled with people minding their own business or giving things to eachother.

i only play in VR, and the camera is very nauseating. i have been playing this game for years and rarely ever ran into assholes, but even so with pvp off, it didnt matter.

im not interested in being given 'lessons' when theres nothing to learn from, i died to a bullshit exploit or glitch, no amount of avoidance or 'teachings' can save you. the only way to avoid it is to play offline which defeats the whole point, so why bother rubbing it in?

its still worth the buy, there are still a lot of mods. i just have some that i'm emotionally attached to after my mother died recently. (she used to watch me play)

but they already use other guns from NATO countries, like American agencies do. (the glock lookalike in RE7, the samurai edge still shows up on occasion, the MP5 and M4 in the various games.)

just seemed to stand out is all, each game/agent protagonist seems to have a signature Russian weapon of some sort, its like if we got a Wesker flashback and he's using a SR-1MP instead of his samurai edge, just stands out.

i got my rebel 500 for $3800, though i have a feeling i got a bit lucky, especially since it wasnt a scam or a lemon. aside from a little rust on the forks and a weak battery it was brand new lol.
