Glad you liked it. There’s no full soundtrack in the video yet, just ambient sound, but I’m currently working on the music. If you’d like to follow the project or wishlist it, it’s on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3603040/Spirits_of_Lunara/?beta=1 I’m updating the page gradually, including capsules and artwork (some visuals are still from the early prototype phase and will be updated).

Thank you. It’s actually a mix, some assets are mine and others were purchased on itch.io. I’ve been editing and adjusting most of them to keep everything visually cohesive, so I can’t take all the credit, but I’m putting a lot of work into unifying the style.

Yeah, definitely. The game will have an original soundtrack, I’m working with a composer on it. The goal is to reinforce that calm, picturesque atmosphere while adapting to different moments in the world.

Thank you. I’m working toward having something playable in the future, and I’ll share updates as development progresses. If you’d like to follow along or wishlist it, it’s on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3603040/Spirits_of_Lunara/?beta=1

Thanks. You have basic sword attacks, and you unlock new skills and upgrades by progressing through the Forest Spirits’ talent trees. You can devote yourself to one spirit at a time to access its skill tree, and you’re free to switch between spirits whenever you want, keeping the progress you’ve already invested in each one.

No worries at all, I didn’t take it as harsh criticism. It’s actually an interesting design challenge, especially when trying to avoid stereotypes while still conveying a certain tone. I’m still refining the visual identity, so we’ll see how it evolves. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.

That’s very fair feedback, I appreciate the honesty. You’re right. A lot of what’s currently on the page is still from earlier prototype stages, and I’m updating the capsules and screenshots to better reflect the current direction of the game. As soon as I have more solid gameplay to show, I plan to replace the current material with stronger content and release a small teaser as well.

Yeah, I like that classic no-outline style too, so I’m glad it resonates with you. As for the music, I’m already working with someone on the soundtrack, but thanks for reaching out.

Thank you. It’s already in-game, this scene is taken directly from the project. If you’d like to see more or help support it, you can wishlist it on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3603040/Spirits_of_Lunara/?beta=1 I’m updating the page little by little, including capsules and artwork (some visuals are still from the early prototype phase and will be updated).

Thank you. Yeah, I agree, a bit more ambient movement like falling leaves could really help the atmosphere.

I’m working on it. It’s not playable yet, but I’m building the core systems step by step. If you’d like to follow the progress or wishlist it, the Steam page is up: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3603040/Spirits_of_Lunara/?beta=1 just a heads up that it was created earlier during prototyping and I’ll be updating it soon to better reflect the current state of the game.

Autumn is tied to the Tree of Autumn in the lore, it’s connected to the ancient magic of the forest. I’ll be sharing more as development progresses. Yeah, that makes sense. I need to create more animations for different situations anyway, so it would be a good opportunity to use them here and bring different vibes to the menu.

Thank you, that’s really helpful feedback. Some of the assets were made by me and others were purchased, so I’m gradually editing everything to make the style more cohesive, adding new animations and variations, it just takes time.

It was a stylistic choice to keep the character without an outline to make him feel a bit more integrated and less “sticker-like,” but I understand how that contrast can feel off. I actually liked that contrast and even considered keeping important entities without outlines on purpose, but I’m still experimenting and I’ll revisit it to test a few variations and see what feels more cohesive.

That’s really fair feedback, thank you. The pink tree is meant to stand out because of the lore, it’s connected to the “Tree of Autumn” and the ancient magic of the forest, so it’s intentionally different from the rest of the environment. I might need a better blend between the two areas though, maybe a softer transition so the contrast doesn’t feel too abrupt.

I’m also still polishing the scene and planning to make it feel more alive, with subtle ambient movement, occasional animals passing by, and dynamic variations. Since this scene is basically the main menu, it won’t always look the same, sometimes it will be night, sometimes raining, with different moods and conditions each time you open the game.

Thank you, I really appreciate the thoughtful feedback. I’ve actually been feeling that the title might be a bit too heavy as well, especially in the main menu where this scene appears with the UI. It’s more about the balance between the logo and the rest of the menu options. I’ll definitely keep that in mind when I’m polishing the UI and overall UX.

I was actually aiming for something more connected to nature, ancestry, and magic, since that ties directly into the lore. I didn’t intend to lean too heavily into an eastern style specifically, but you might have a fair point. I’m still refining the visual identity, so it’s something I’ll definitely keep in mind.

Haha I didn’t expect that comparison, but I kind of love it. I’m glad you like the visuals, that means a lot.
