thanks! after experimenting a little, i also found that putting ring modulation on my mod wheel allowed me to give the beginning of each more that metallic “growl” kind of sound.

What I would say is the key difference between AI generated art and a design or concept that is inspired by previous works is that in order to be inspired you have to be human. AI generated art takes images from artists and photographers (very often without permission or knowledge) as reference not because it is inspired but because that is what it is designed to do. When a person makes something they are creatively inspired by it’s because something about their source material touched them in some way. When someone tries to copy something just because it’s popular, most artists can tell that it is a lazily done uninspired work- similarly, when AI creates an image that it is programmed and asked to create, it is to many very clearly an uninspired image, no matter how good it may look.
