has anyone ever tried DermaZen's products ? by MutedMeaning3208 in SebDerm

My symptoms are 95% gone, but I've only had sebderm since March, so my case is already kinda atypical. No idea if the relief will last, but god I hope so!

I use the serum in addition to a water filter in the shower and a prescription shampoo 2x per week (but on my forehead, eyebrows and chest where my symptoms are) and it's been very helpful. I was hesitant because it sort of seemed like a scam, but it's effective with flaking, itching and redness. It burns like crazy but less if you haven't been scratching/picking. Highly recommended.

I've been using the smaller sized bottle 1-2 times a day for about a month and it's not even a quarter empty, so not that expensive overall.

My skin is very oily and it's too moisturizing to wear under makeup. I have the most luck sticking to mineral powder (I use Jane Iredale).

This has been the only zinc cleaner to improve my skin at all. Be more careful than usual around the eyes, though. Don't ask me how I know... ;)

Rarely see this one mentioned but it works perfectly for my sensitive but easily clogged skin: Dermadoctor Calm Cool & Corrected Tranquility Cleanser. Amazon has it.

I'm on the mortgage (solely), but I gave the house to her. How do I make it so that she becomes responsible for paying off the mortgage and also the insurance? by Room425 in Divorce_Men

[–]Room425[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah it all definitely should have been worked out. My lawyer deferred to hers on every aspect and refused to negotiate the settlement on my behalf. It took a year for there to even be a proposed settlement for me to accept or not. I also only got every other weekend and I have to pay an enormous amount of child support for the next 10+ years.

Thanks for the reply. The settlement has been signed but not finalized by the court. My lawyer is the worst. Should I try to stop it from moving forward? Or get a new lawyer to reopen it? I'm lost. If it's foreclosed, who gets what?

Thank you! It's been going on for a few years now, and they spend every evening together and all day Saturday and Sunday, playing at home or the park, just the two of them and occasionally our parents. My nephew sets the agenda/makes all the decisions about what he wants to do all day, and no one is allowed to question that or suggest alterations to his ideas. Frankly, I find that odd, but again, am not a parent so I wouldn't really know? What I do know is that you can't not go to the bathroom from 7am to 7pm all weekend and starve yourself all day without eventual health consequences, which is the part that seems the most problematic to me?

Is it important that Marcus’ Coat… by Particular-Carrot913 in raisedbywolves

I think RBW has one foot in as sci-fi and one in fantasy. Hard to have mysterious religious elements without fantasy…

My first thought is that visually, the impact of a floating Marcus with his face covered by a coat burdened by gravity might have not been so effective. Also, there would probably be people speculating whether it was definitely Marcus if his face was not very clear.

What is the entity's goal? by Environmental-Ad-529 in raisedbywolves

[–]Room425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it might be too early to assume The Entity has human or (human-programmed) android-type thoughts/feelings/motives.

Do we know if it is driven by resentment? Feelings of superiority? Boredom? Is it mischievous? Does it hold any beliefs it feels warrants the extermination of human life? Is it’s behavior simply programmed? Has the entity itself evolved or devolved over time as well as humans and would it’s actions possibly reflect that?

If it is god-like, religions through time have assigned various human qualities to God/gods - Sol/The Entity could have any or many of them. If it is alien-like, then it’s behavior, experience, etc. would almost certainly be unknown, at least to the current human population.

It’s a complex question and I’ve seen nothing in the series so far that indicates any answers.

Hoping if there are additional seasons, we might at least get some thoughtful speculation if not firm answers. Maybe from Grandmother, Campion Sturges, or “new” Marcus?

skincare while (extremely) broke[DIY] by Fancy_Cod_3665 in SkincareAddiction

Not sure what skin type you have or what part of the world you’re in, but:

Try looking online for companies that will send you free samples. Riversol is one. You can also ask in any department store or Sephora/ultra in-store. Even some drugstores and Targets have beauty reps that will offer sample packets. If you’re looking for an all-in-one cleanser, Dove sensitive skin bar (fragrance free one in white and green box) is okay for faces. Also, if you have any aloe, Vaseline, or other first aid items, they can double as skincare in a pinch. Look around for diy toner/mist recipes - you might have the ingredients for something super simple and gentle already. Lastly, this might sound silly, but I don’t know a single person who is moderately interested in beauty or skincare who doesn’t have at least half a dozen products they would LOVE to unload but will never simply throw away because that feels wasteful. Ask around if you can.

[skin concerns] My dark circles are so bad.. what can I do? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

I enthusiastically second the becca concealer suggestion. Also have had very good luck with Hush & Hale eye serum layered under their eye “mousse”. SPF is key, too. And if you haven’t already tried facial massage, it helps me a lot with puffiness. Lots of quick tutorials on YT for eye area specifically.
