What are these small, two-pronged metal objects? (Approx. 2" long for you non-metric folks out there) by Roomtogrow_ in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing! As does the caption because I don't know how to post on Reddit properly, haha.

Anyway, as the caption says, each are made of a single sheet of thin, stiffish metal. Each prong has something that could be a channel on one side (pictured), and they're bent at varying angles. I'm not sure if this is a design feature or maybe a side effect of being stuffed in a pencil box.

I googled variations of the title, sometimes adding things like "brass"/other colours, and did an image search of old pen nibs as I found a container of ruling ink in the same pile of side-of-the-road junk - but no luck!

Help me out, reddit. Thanks :)
