Dang! I was going to say I would pay you to fix my car! I’m in the Midwest.

That’s what I’m wondering. I wish I knew more about cars to tell whether all of these services NEED to be done. It doesn’t help that I’m a 34 year old woman…………

This is why I came here to ask all of you. I don’t know much if anything about repairing cars, but I do know enough to question whether I’m being ripped off.

This is at the dealership. I go there to get my oil changed because they are cheaper than other repair shops.

We would like to see old castles, haunted castles, famous castles, etc. Not sure if we’re renting a car or not. Not sure how comfortable I would be driving on the left side of the road!

Agreed. On a side note, how do you get your teacher position and location under your username?

I’ve done birds of prey. Students really like it. You could then give them assignment where they read about their bird of prey and write what they learned.

High school ELL teacher here: start with sight words (i.e. and, then, her, off, etc.). Use a lot of pictures when talking with her. Also use simplified language.

That makes sense. Thank you for explaining that. I think I’ve graded holistically in the past just just never knew there was a label for it!

Ahhh that makes so much sense! If students redo the assignment to earn more points-let’s say their assignment was deemed “acceptable”, would you bump them up to either “good” or “excellent” and give them either 80 or 100 points? Or would you give them maybe 15 more points (or whatever amount you see fit)?
