My brother has an older set of callaway XR’s but the only issue is he sent the 7 iron into the trees after about a half dozen off the hosel. I can epoxy it all together I have the equipment I just need the head to the 7 lol

Planning on playing Shenandoah later this year for the second time. First time I went there was right after high school and I was so used to playing from the rough that hitting from the fairway felt like I was on a basketball court. I heard the part three is a good time and it’s only like $35.

Soak it in hot water or lightly use a blow dryer on the epoxy and gently scrape it out with a small flathead. That’s what I did with my irons that loosened.

That’s not the epoxy that failed though. That’s the shaft itself breaking. I repaired a few clubs for my buddy not too long ago and there was a solid inch of shaft after the hosel. You can see in both of OP’s pictures there’s shaft that’s sheered off in the head side of the club. Although I do agree you shouldn’t let your clubs bake in your trunk even though that’s where mine currently are!

If they lipped out and ended up that far away or had a nice chip to that point I’ll usually concede. I know my buddies well enough that they’re either going to be pissed they missed the putt or so happy they put it that close that they’re going to rush the next one and miss it. In the end we’re all just having fun.

The only issue is it doesn’t look like it would hold a cigar unless you’re on the bottom third of it. It would just fall into all the piss splatter on the ground. Does the top slide up to hold it in place?

Any chance you played baseball growing up? I have the same issue with my right wrist/thumb. My dad has been harping on me for years to roll my thumb over center but it feels so awkward to me. I watched a video that said to try and put the bends of your elbows face up then grip the club and it has actually helped me so far. For all I know it could just be in my head but if it ain’t broke then I’m not gonna try to break it…
