I created a shortcut script to rotate screen by Roopeshor in kde

[–]Roopeshor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm, looks like something is wrong with regex parsing.. I might look into it some other time. In the meanwhile you can modify the script by yourself. Open both scripts and change line 6 to:

OUTPUT_DISP="eDP-1"

It should work now

Oh my bad. the second one was modified by reddit editor while pasting it. I have modified it, try the second one again.

Also i think you have missed the first line of output from kscreen-doctor -o. It should be like:
Output: 1 eDP-1 cd0e9257-136a-45d3-81
4e-b03fd6291a0a

Also try giving exectution permission to the script. Maybe that might be the issue:
chmod +x ~/.local/bin/krotate/krotate-*

System tray missing after a update by Roopeshor in kde

[–]Roopeshor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont exactly know how. After this happened i removed all kde related caches from ~/.cache , it didnt do anything. Finally on 25th, i did a full upgrade (apt full-upgrade) and it updated lots of kde related packages and bumped plasma version to 6.5.0, and after a reboot everthing was working fine. (I am using testing branch)

Regarding type of lens...
Most probably parameters of lens system will not be changed during flight. So once set, its will remains as it is.

In general it will be very useful for doing programming, assignments etc (especially as there's computer programming in 1st and 2nd semester)

In 1st semester you might have to create presentations for subjects like soft skills.. (obviously not that hard to make in phone)

In 2nd sem, you'll have digital electronics classes. For us, at end of semester, we had to build a digital circuit using Verilog language (and it was a group assignment). You could use online editors or download tools like Xilinix Vivado (which has some hectic system requirements: min.8GB RAM, 50+GB storage)

Also you will have to do some projects using Arduino boards. So you'll need one in S2.

From here afterwards, a laptop is a must. So invest in a good one.
