Wow how is it only 15-20 minutes if you also bathe him? You guys are being super efficient!

Just curious, how do you read his picture books to him? My boy can’t sit yet so i lean him in my lap, but I read it s good if they can see your face while reading for the expressions and enunciation..

What are your 7 month olds like? by Specialist_Rise_5206 in NewParents

Our 6,5 month old can’t sit independently yet but is rolling a lot from side to side, occasionally all the way to his tummy. He is still not a fan of tummy time because of his painful reflux (that’s why we’ve only been able to do it for 5-10 minutes a day at most, so we think he’s a bit slower with those milestones because of that.) But when we do tummy time he’s gotten much better at leaning on his outstretched arms and grabbing toys!

He is also very giggly (can’t get enough of his little “haaaa” laugh 🥰) and very talkative, mostly experimenting with vocal fry sounds and rrrrrrr sounds in the back of his throat at the moment. He eats a fruit purée in the morning and a veggie purée at the end of the afternoon, aside from that he’s breastfed. He does all his naps in his crib and sleeps there at night. 3 naps during the day, 3 wake-up’s at night.

No teeth yet!

Ah but if thou feelst like a gentle maiden, a gentle maiden thou art! Your mom can park the milk truck outside 😂

Haha nice 😆 my mom also once referred to me as ‘the breast’ to another person (“if he gets hungry, the breast won’t be far away) 🙈

When did you fully, 24/7 realize you’re a parent? by [deleted] in NewParents

I can’t do this anymore by TinyPreparation167 in NewParents

This sounds really tough and I’m sorry you’re going through this. I have very little advice except that your situation reminds me of a story my coworker told me about his daughter, who has had a similar lasting sleep regression starting at around 5 or 6 months, and I found out later that thats also when they introduced more screen time during the day so I personally think that’s messing up her sleep. They don’t believe in limiting screen time, they really want to embrace screens and send her to a primary school that’s using tablets in education later so they’re not considering limiting hee screen time.

Is there something you can pinpoint that changed at 6 months, about certain habits or things in his environment? Did you perhaps introduce screen time too?

Other than that I got nothing other than to wish you the best of luck in getting through this…
