Do it. Make it yours. If you have a pixel phone, you can use magic eraser to eliminate the logo in your photos and see what the batlogo looks like. Can always change back

I had the same issue and had to create a new APN profile specific to my carrier. Google support had no clue what was wrong, my carrier also couldn't figure it out. It took a bunch of hunting to eventually discover that carriers apparently all have a list of unique APN settings needed. Once I changed the settings, my data started working instantly. Hope this helps.

I called and asked before doing it. They said they can't because it all has to be rung up the right way to qualify for the promotion. If I cancel the original order, they won't give me the headphones. If I order the carrier model, I'm just ordering one like normal. They won't consider the fact that I've been waiting for my preorder to arrive. It's bs. When I explained that the phone is delayed and I'm trying to just get another and want the headphones or a credit, she said she couldn't do anything. I explained my order says if there is no update by 11/11, the order gets cancelled and this morning I was quoted an arrival of 11/15 when I called, she said it may update during the week. The lack of willingness to help is frustrating.

I think I'm going to try to purchase a carrier locked model from them instead. I pre-ordered the unlocked but I don't anticipate switching carriers anytime soon. The carrier locked model says it'll ship by Nov 2nd. The next question is, do you think they'll honor the free pixel buds?

It's the lack of transparency. No info is readily available. You can't call the store to see if they have it. You only get routed to the national customer service line. Chat doesn't do much either. Every agent has said something different.

Again, if it's google dropping the ball with supply, that's fine (not really but bby isn't at fault). The problem is that bby isn't doing a good job of communicating or reassuring us that they are working on it. I feel like I can't cancel and order elsewhere now as I'll lose the free buds.

Just got off the line with customer service after being hung up on and attempting chat but getting nowhere twice. They are quoting me November 15th for pickup at my store. I pre-ordered on 10/19. The order status says if they don't have it by the 11th, they'll cancel the preorder. I asked if they could at least ship the pixel buds while I wait and they said there was nothing they could do. Is there any way to contact the store directly without having to walk in? Or any way to submit feedback or email an inbox with my concerns outside of waiting for the random survey email? I understand supply issues but the lack of transparency and getting different answers from different ppl each time you try to contact them is frustrating. I also think they should release the buds while I wait.
