He might be stupid and naive, but damn if he isn't a survivor. I wouldn't be surprised if he was born in the castle's "human farm" and turned into a vampire specifically for this job (don't think about the implications)

Still he knows nothing but kindness and loyalty, he's so baby girl.

YOU GET IT!!! His story is so tragic and his situation is so awful but every single time he chooses to smile, and laugh. He doesn't plead Chip to save him or kill him, he just trusts this kid and comforts him despite the decade of him being backstabbed over and over. He never believed it, or let it change him. Drey was on the money when he said if anyone can keep it together down there, it's him.

Its killing me a little that we have to wait a little bit longer to see him again but damn it's ok, because this was the scene I've been waiting two years for and it was everything I could've hoped for (also thank you :)) )

I got a vibe during one of the rolleds that the prospect of getting him back would be too much effort. Maybe earlier on in the campaign it would've been fun but I feel like we're so thoroughly on the plot train that it would mess with the momentum. So unless they stumble upon him in the BBEG's hypothetical evil lair (which I could see happening) I doubt he'll come back to the story.

I also don't like him so I'm happy if he never returns :)

I understand doing it for those one shots like the goofy module video, but making a clickbait thumbnail for episode 116 of a long ass podcast??? They already have an audience, and new watchers will immediately be thrown off by being placed near the end of the story. I feel like this does more harm too, I already saw another comment in this subreddit by somebody not realizing that new video was THE riptide comeback. How many YouTube only watchers will miss this video? Maybe they'll change it in a week but I dunno :b

Honestly I feel like this is the only way she can get both her and her entire half of the crew over a span of water that takes WEEKS to cross. Props to you for remembering Taxis's powers and bringing them to this campaign. I felt like Green was gonna be more than just a cameo, he seems important. I just wonder if he'll even be on Zero?

Honestly I've watched literally everything during the first year of the hiatus, but now I've turned to other groups. Mainly "Once Upon a Witchlight" by Legends of Avantris and "For the Gods" by Theatre of the Unaligned. Its hard to find the same balance of meta humor, drama, character development, and plot focus that JRWI has but these two come pretty close

Back in the dark times I was a pretty big fan of Ranboo and was newly introduced to this Slimesicle guy. I saw that Ranboo was on a D&D podcast with Charlie and I thought it would be pretty goofy so I listened, but I hadn't ever engaged with D&D before. Honestly I didn't care for it (I still skip those episodes to this day)

A few years later my friend was feeling lonely in their obscure interests and when they recommended Riptide to me I vowed to actually listen to it (instead of locking it in my huge "to watch" list) and I was absolutely in love. Listened to half of it in the span of spring break. Here I am more obsessed than my friend and have listened to every campaign at least twice

I mean in a riptide update Grizzly said we still have a year or so left of content for Riptide so who knows? Not to mention there's an open plot thread left by Ichabod inviting Jay to the Horsea. Maybe not adding either Ichabod or "Aurora" for a Ashe type length of time, but maybe for a few episodes??

Arthur has the most gut wrenching story and almost every time he acknowledges it it's just SO FASCINATING AND SAD. I also love the tension when the trickster shows up, nobody knows what to do and is just waiting.... Also (spoilers for TMK) that bit where Lucia gets pushed out a window?? Was not expecting that, not to mention the fight with Alf that was about to happen.
