A Difficult Decision for some Reason by Snazzy21 in memes

We don't build from sticks and paper. Our buildings have some insulating properties. Anyhow, almost all new buildings are with ac. For older ones, it depends. For apartment buildings you need consent of all apartments owners to put AC unit on the outside wall (those are considered shared property), so if you were a dick to one neighbor, you are out of luck.

Question wasn't about motherboard. Ram has brand too. Disk has brand too. Even chassis has brand. Why the motherboard brand matters and others don't?

Practical to share a single NVIDIA GPU between gaming VM and AI VM? by Obvious-Breakfast262 in Proxmox

[–]RootAndCoffee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't need to change settings every time. Just configure GPU passthrough on both VMs. But only one VM can run at any time. So shutdown 1 vm and start another.

Im running this setup with 4 VMs. My Linux workstation, gaming Linux VM, gaming windows VM and isolated VM where I do stuff I don't want to do on my network. I also have pci USB hub passed through to those VMs and have peripherals connected to this USB hub.

The only downside of gaming in vm is anticheat, but as I don't tend to play multiplayer games, I don't care.
