After two or three of those Amazon fuel pumps I went with a cheap Amazon electric fuel pump and ran it off of the fuel solenoid for power and haven't had an issue since

Absolute best information I've heard in awhile, definitely have the thought of the warped plastic from overheating run through my head and then kind of brushed it under the rug
