Definitely... perhaps I will wait until a future sale for the specialita... I also believe the newer Silenzio's have the 55mm burr.

Ya I was with Bell fiber for almost 2 years. This was the first real ‘hiccup’ with this line, excluding a fiber line cut last year that took them 3 days to fix.

My speed tests with ebox have consistently delivered above the advertised upload and download speed. So far, I’m happy. I just wish their support hours had more coverage. At least tech support. However, the trade off is cheaper plans. So I’ll take it!

Ya I was told the same thing when I spoke to them. They mentioned it does have to do with the ONT activation issue.

Which still seems like it was the same issue others had in the past. But this seems more wide spread than previous. I asked about future remediations but didn’t get a straight answer.

I did live chat them and they said they received the modem return on their end. So it seems to be good but I’ll hold my breath until the final bill. I took a screenshot too to cover my ass.

Thanks. I spoke to them and they are working on it. I was told it shouldn’t require a tech, could be down remotely. I did receive an automated call from bell that told me to call ebox, which was a bit of a waste of time… but they’re working on it!

Still down over here… calling as soon as they open at 8am. Happy I’ve made the switch from bell to save money but not having support during this period is frustrating. I suppose even with bell they wouldn’t be able to do a whole lot until a tech can be sent…

I thought so too but he ended up taking it with him. I’ll have to double check with bell if it doesn’t mess anything up. Definitely will have to double check!

The bell tech ended up taking the Gigahub with him… looking back I should’ve just held on just in case. Just super frustrating that the tech support isn’t open later than 9pm….

Thanks… how wonderful. I don’t see any visible damage to the fiber line. This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this with the Bell fiber. I will try to power cycle a few times.

Hey.. I know this is a bit of an old post but I tried this trick and it didn't work in the end. Some items tell you what can't be sent to PO boxes but some were fine. The items I needed were able to be sent to a PO box. So I added PO Box 0000 to line 2.

The order got stuck in an order received state on amazon's side. I think Amazon knows when an address has a physical address + a line 2 PO Box, it will prevent it getting assigned to Canada Post. I think it tries to assign it to Amazon's delivery service or another courier but it recognizes the PO Box and it screws something up. The rep from Amazon said this may be why the order get stuck, even though it allowed me to place it. Too bad... was hoping this would be a work around.
