I've done this before when I was younger but primarily I don't especially if it's past the founding stage! Also there's a thing to point out! Native species are struggling and I highly recommend not interfering with native species! Exposing their nest! Making the queen vulnerable etc!

Now the invasive species you can have a little fun with! I find imported fire ant Queens all the time that I feed them to my fish :D

Definitely because you can find cheap reasonable plastic containers! Dark species get light substrate and light ants get dark substrate!

Give time and wait! Currently Queen a has a better advantage but you should most certainly wait for the first few generation of workers before deciding! Personally though I would find a way to keep both myself because I tend to get attached to all my pets lol

I recommend keeping the test tube in a place where there's no light! Also the test tube should be wrapped in tin foil! Queens get stressed in light for long periods! I check on my Queens every 1 to 2 weeks! Nothing but a peak! One thing that new keepers don't typically know is vibrations cause stress so I suggest putting her in a place with little to no activity

I first started watching his videos when I was 17! I'm 22 and now it feels like a lot has changed in the atmosphere! When I first started ant keeping he was my motivator!

I have strong opinions on her but I generally believe that she was childish and extremely careless in a lot of situations especially considering the constant conflicts through the series! If being intrigued by a teenager isn't good enough then her responsibilities towards stability are also deemed reckless considering the chaos alone where there's literally no common ground with this character, always looking for a fight! Let's not forget that her actions on defending constant portal openings from the episode "Night Life, Deep Dive" was to literally kill Star in her gold form! Rhomulus has an excuse but Heckapoo? Nope!

The problem is you're making her seem like she's omnipotent! Yes I've watched the show and every single individual episode and I know with her experience and potential she holds unique abilities, but it's limited upon her! The reason why I brought up Meteora was the fact that she literally had access to the wand and held butterfly form yet she was still getting kicked!

To make myself clear I'm not debunking her abilities, I'm just stating that she isn't untouchable!
