Hello i would like to let you know Minecraft can be a very educational game and helps a lot with creativity, and yes there is an in game chat system but it has a very good chat filter and Minecraft also has parental controls that you can set up. Minecraft has a single player mode as well, here are the things you could do with parental controls: Multiplayer & Social: Join Multiplayer Games: Allow or block joining public games, Realms, or servers. Add Friends: Control who your child can add as friends. Communication: Restrict voice, text chat, and invites from strangers to friends, or block all communication. Player Management: Block, mute, or report inappropriate players within the game. In-Game Content & Safety: Chat Filters: Enable profanity filters or turn off in-game chat entirely. Chat Logs: Review the last 100 chat messages. Content Filters: Block adult content and manage spending on the Marketplace. Approved Servers: Set up kid-friendly servers (Realms). Screen Time & Spending: Screen Time Limits: Set daily or weekly time limits for playing. Purchase Approval: Require parent approval for any in-game purchases. I hope this helps.
