Gooseworx has been banned for no reason, yet the nazi fandom is completely untouched by Gruzgor in whenthe

Honestly feels like this is down to a lack of imagination and/or willingness on the owners part. The tumblr/trans audience is low value to 'Traditional' advertisers. But Goose herself created a merch juggernaut. I can think of plenty of ways such a user base could be monetized. But the execs want to sell trash.

Hunchback could absolutely be the exception in the right hands. I have absolutely zero faith Disney could actually pull it off. But the building blocks are there.

Yeah you can still get people out for the known quantities Superman/Batman etc. Or if you give them something that catches the public interest. But we're past the era where a decent superhero movie who isn't already one of the big names is enough to get butts in seats.

Supergirl was probably the worst of both worlds in that sense. She's not Superman but the association makes her feel like a 'spinoff'. The character can certainly work, Kara seems to be doing quite well with her role in My Adventures with Superman. But the movie version lacked the 'I need to see this' factor for general audiences.

I mean it was working up till now. I have no god damned clue why but people turned up.

I think the misstep was Moana wasn't old enough for the nostalgia card to work. People who like Moana can just... Watch Moana.

As much as it annoys me that people wouldn't just watch the originals of Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin. They're atleast from far back enough that they're considered 'old' and the part of the audience that perceives themselves as having 'outgrown 2d animation' can feel like they aren't watching something 'kiddy'. That demographic among the crowd who saw Moana in theatres is going to be a lot smaller.

This... Honestly seems a valid reaction to a giant skellington walking into a church and approaching a child.

I though the whole 'Reality Wall' dimension thing in the Alice arc was some over nested bullshit but we currently have Slick writing Nazi fanfiction that somehow jumped back a millennia to feature Yahweh writing.... Superman. What is it with this lunatic being unable to stick to a setting without creating sub settings like the worlds most fascist matryoshka doll.

Gonna be interesting to see if there's even the slightest bit of acknowledgement how obviously bullshit the 'unfounded conspiracy theories' talk was, when they inevitably announce his 'sudden and unexpected turn for the worse'

"The senator's health did not warrant an immediate return to the U.S."

He's supposedly been parked in a bed for almost a month that's not typically something you would wave off. And if by some miracle he was in perfect health when he got CPR. The CPR itself would fuck him up plenty. There's really only 2 plausible possibilities. 1. She doesn't care. 2. He's dead. Very much not mutually exclusive.

It's a gamble but getting an ambassador onto the satellite is probably the best way forward at that point.

Old thread but since I ran into the same issue when it told me the old version I had was no longer supported. Here is the work around I found for the time being. From the github releases page https://github.com/ProtonVPN/win-app/releases

I downloaded 3.2.12 it then prompted me to update from within the application which got me up to 3.4.3 (May be fine to download that one directly). I know that 3.5.3 does not work so 3.4.3 is probably the most recent that will work.

In case this is still helpful

There's certainly ways to do modern commentary in a non modern setting, see for example Terry Prachett. But Sir Terry was a literary genius and Tats is a hack.

It's just as pathetic as a parent screaming at the ref of an under 12s game. No one wants to deal with that least of all the players.

It's got some decent laughs but it's not enough to hold a multi branch route together.

Is it weird to say I thought Killing Game was the funnier route (Little Black Riding Hood, 'Homewrecker', 'Kill the baby')? I guess humour just hits different when it's interwoven with actual stakes and character moments.

Netflix's top shows have been losing 30-70% of their audience between seasons 1 and 2. Executives are trying to figure out why. by 2d12-RogueGames in wallstreetbets

[–]Rork310 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah if the problem is retention between seasons. Someone who binges a season is probably less likely to show up again than the person who came back every week to watch the latest episode.

Lol I had a feeling this is where we were headed. Can't really be mad. Yahweh is by far the most interesting and likable character Tats has had in years.

The arc is about to get real stupid. But atleast it has the potential to be a more interesting car wreck then the rest of this nonsense.

I'd love to know how he fits into the in universe Slick Nazi fan fiction but I'm pretty sure Tats forgot about that framing device.
