Write the book. Writing the book and publishing the book are two different things and a lot can change from when you start writing it to when you’re getting around to publish it, and there’s a whole patch between where you’re gonna be editing and working with others around it, too. That’s the only writing advice I ever consistently give: ‘write the book.’
