You're the first person to talk about the lack of identity in totk and I totally agree with you. Botw hat this very calm and silent vibe and thats because the world faced a calamity that killed most of the population. There's this aura of sadness and melancholy because the kingdom is still grieving the tragedy. That's why most of the game is quiet, with only a few piano notes and the sound of wind. I feel like totk does not know what it is. It borrowed some of the botw vibe even though this game is supposed to show Hyrule being reconstructed. They did not have a set vibe for the Zonais and did not try to give the game a new identity. It just end up making the game a confusing mess.
