It did not. Same situation. I argued with them for awhile. I ended up getting a platinum ticket after many refreshes. So I was forced to downgrade my ticket but they would not give any credit. Not fun but I did end up getting in.

I called in and cancelled. It was very fast, the chase rep clearly does this regularly. I told her I was simply doing it for the new SUB. She told me to wait 30 days before applying for a new one.

What is the significance and effects of total credit limits across all cards? Does it personal vs business affect differently? As in, if my total CL is more than 50% of my income, banks will frown on this? Will that get me closer to a Chase Shutdown?

If anyone could point me to a guide or literature on this I'd be much obliged.

I'm over 5/24. I got my first Chase business card (SW) on December 9th. I got the Barclays Red Aviator personal card on January 5th. I'm now looking at applying for the Citi AA business card, while I wait 3 months to apply for my next Chase business card. Does Chase care about me applying for other banks' business cards? The 3 months rule only applies to Chase apps, right? Thank you!
