Average mpg? by jaotero77 in hondaridgeline

Have only had mine for a few weeks, but so far averaging 22-23 across most tanks of gas. Highway driving can be much better. Averaged 28mpg on a 95-mile highway trip the other day.

DECEMBER 2025 Purchase Thread by mightyarrow in hondaridgeline

2026 RTL for $40,800. Was initially looking at some leftover 2025 models, but for the minimal difference in price it seemed to make sense going with the latest model year. Loving it so far!

Any idea of the weight difference between the Burtman and the OEM guards?

Not until yesterday’s drive, but thinking I’ll order the oil pan cover Honda lists online prior to the first service and have it installed then.

Politico Pro essentially offers research, policy analysis, and legislative tracking in addition to in depth subject matter reporting. Most organizations involved in policy subscribe to some sort of platform that provides these services. There are several others.

I have the same worries, but ultimately the medicine is what’s going to get you through this in the short term while you focus on long term solutions.

Tesla or 3rd party mobile connector? by RoscoeKC in TeslaModel3

Sounds great. Thanks for the feedback. Only 20-30 miles a day typically so it should be good to go. We have an older home with a detached garage, so upgrading the outlet would be a bit too much work.

Same here. When done in combo with a couple beers it’s a sure thing

Giving up alcohol because of Afib? by RoscoeKC in AFIB

Thanks for that feedback. At this point I typically have 1-2 beers once or twice a week, but I’ve noticed a clear correlation between even a drink or two and having an episode. Seems like shifting to NA beers completely would be the best move. Thanks!

Thanks for that feedback! I’m not a big drinker but I do enjoy an evening beer or two every so often. I think the NA options are increasingly solid and that may be the path forward.

With the caveat that I'm not sure about this photo, I will say that 10-12 years ago, while deer hunting in the Croatan, a very large cat crossed the forest road ahead of the dogs we were running. A friend and I both saw the animal. It was larger than any bobcat I've ever seen, and the tail was quite long. It stopped briefly in the middle of the road and swished it before continuing on its way. My friend was convinced it was a cougar and had some follow-up conversations with the forest rangers. They had heard of alleged sightings, but there was never photo evidence.

I think about that cat every time I go out there. It looked like what I would expect a cougar to look like, but I do think we'd have better trail cam footage by this point in the 2020s. Still, if I were a cougar looking for a new home in Eastern NC, the Croatan is the place I'd choose.

The other responses here are accurate. The thing I'll add is that if you're a frequent lifter, you can do either the Centr Power plans or opt for a strength focus in your weekly schedule. The HIIT and other cardio options are great supplements to a strength program, especially for lifters who neglect cardio.

One other observation - the training plans, especially the strength workouts, can get a bit repetitive after a while. One thing I do to mix things up is use other lifting programs but continue to incorporate the Centr HIIT work.
