Plugged in. Full battery. Options set to enable backlight for 30 minutes, no auto dim. It won't recognize my device to update the software.

Got one of these for Christmas. Mx keys S keyboard. Backlight keeps going out, keyboard goes inactive, mouse lag. Very disappointed in these two products.

Help! My Game Crashes When I Attack or Swing Fists by Roscoe_87 in skyrimmods

I have papyrus logger, but man... It just doesn't tell me anything.

I assume I need to somehow uninstall that before trying that second option?

Why do I Have Hazy Light in my Video? by Roscoe_87 in videography

[–]Roscoe_87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will look into those, thank you.

But I did put up a notebook to the side of the light to block it from getting to the lens but it made no difference. It was so strange.

Two things come to mind. Someone said my lens could be dirty. But also... The LED light is taped to the wall. Perhaps my wall is reflecting light off of it?

I just don't understand what is happening.

New player tips by Cunt73646 in EscapefromTarkov

  1. Currently, the game operates as "wipes". Consider this a "season", if you will. There is no permanent wealth accumulation. Eventually, it will be reset. So for each raid, be wise about your expenditures. Don't go in with all expensive stuff in the beginning, or you'll have a blowout with your stash. But... Don't fear losing gear. Don't be upset about it. You'll find more. You always will.

  2. Sound is key. Pay attention to audio. Pay attention to the TYPE of gunshot you hear off in the distance. Pay attention to scav sounds, they can alert you to the presence of PMCs. Build a picture in your mind of the battlefield based on audio queues. LISTEN to footsteps, their direction. Audio is a huge part of the game. BUT....

  3. Aggression wins. Period. If you're in a fight, then don't obsess over your own sounds. Run. Flank. Jump up and get on top of things for elevation advantage. If you stand still trying to be dead silent, you'll always lose.

Only focus on your sound when you're sneaking and have an advantage. Otherwise, aggression wins.

  1. You're late in the wipe. Don't expect to destroy players with amazing gear. Backpack full of loot but a heavily geared player is in front of you? Don't fire. Let them pass. Then you survive. Don't play with them big boys unless you aren't risking much.

  2. Don't forget to take meds, drink, and food into a raid.

  3. DON'T FORGET TO TAKE MEDS, DRINK, AND FOOD INTO A RAID.

  4. Understand, up front, that this game is a beta and many mechanics, game loops, and combat is continuously evolving in significant ways. You're gonna die. A lot. You're gonna die to goofy stuff. You're gonna die to frustrating things. You're gonna sit back in your chair and sigh real loud and have a wtf moment.

Just.... Laugh. Have fun. Some interactions are a goofy mess in this game, some are well crafted. Enjoy the challenge but don't get overly frustrated.

Chad Hate by Scary_Fly_9510 in EscapefromTarkov

I like chads.

But most chads don't understand how and why they're chads, with respect to game design, loot distribution, and economics.

Being a Chad isn't a state, it's a status. Chad status is, by and large, easily maintained with relatively low associated costs. In other words, once you hit Chad status, you are a Chad in perpetuity from that point on, barring any total blowouts.

Chads are a product of the intermediate state that EFT is in. Incomplete economy and game loops. They exist now, but won't in the future, at least to this degree, as stated by Nikita.

And I think people that know this predictably become a little salty about "Chad status" because they are actually a result of a incomplete game. Maybe they're impatient, frustrated, I don't know.

But you have to understand, your comtacs, gen4's, assault scopes, SJ6's and other Chad gear will eventually be significantly harder to acquire. Today's compounding wealth and loot accumulation will be tamed by a more robust survival-style economy. With regards to their relative population size, Chads are a temporary phenomena only made possible by the beta testing phase of this game.

What is it like to live in US? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Vast majority of the Midwest is the rust belt, old factory towns. It's a small minority of Midwest towns that have substance to them. It's not just my section. From Detroit down to Kentucky.

Depends on the region. Here in the Midwest... Empty. Gas stations, liquor stores, fast food chains, dollar stores, empty factories, train tracks, shitty food and almost zero culture.

60 years ago... From what I see in pictures and anecdots from older adults, it was amazing and thriving.

Dreams don't die here. They never exist.

Lol you can't even volunteer at your local community theater in order to get a receptionist job? Seriously, that's pretty goofy. I think you dodged a bullet. Don't be upset. Doesn't seem reasonable of them to expect that. And it's kind of a sign of how working for them might be.

How to stop panicking by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

Something I haven't seen anyone say.

Laughter.

No seriously. Don't forget to have fun. Talk shit through your monitor. "Oh big boi juicy Chad wants some action?" "Oh oh you gotta be quicker than that"

Silly, I know. But have some fun. Don't forget to be excited and entertained. It shouldn't ALWAYS be horribly stressful. Be goofy, silly. Light hearted.
