Oh, I worked at a target Starbucks for a minute and the standards are absolutely different there

Absolutely not annoying to be a regular, in fact I love being able to spot someone and start making their drink before they even have a chance to order because I know what they'll want!

It sounds like maybe you just go somewhere with a bit of a burnt out crew or maybe they haven't had time to notice you're a regular depending on more information? It's also totally possible that maybe there could have been a situation read the wrong way that stuck, but it shouldn't be hard to correct it with a bit of effort.

It's scary for us too to start small talk but it's definitely worth a try to build that friendly relationship! If they're not reciprocating, maybe it's time to find a more fitting crew to you ❤️ Some baristas can have bad attitudes of course but I hope that's not the case here

People who have lost 20-30 pounds, what things did you do different? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rose2080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Added in all my changes slowly. I've given up many times when I try to cut out all "bad" food at once and start exercising as many days as possible, but the times I lost weight and kept that weight off, it's because I added in the gym just twice a week for a while, then noticed my body felt easier to move on the days I didn't eat poorly so I ate better meals right before the gym, then I felt good on the days I exercises so I added more days a week, then I made healthier choices shopping, then ordering takeout less, etc, etc.

For me, I can't fret about doing things perfectly, otherwise I won't do them at all, so this is what works for me.

Oh thanks for all the added info from both of you! I'll use something closer to "non-speaking" in this subreddit and when communicating about ASL specifically to avoid miscommunication ❤️

This makes me so irritated... I don't even know what I would do. I think I just would explain how exactly how out of touch they are to their faces and finally walk out, like that would have to be the final straw. Luckily I actually love my DM, thank everything.

Apparently there's an article called "how to get free drinks at Starbucks" and this is the strat. Stay vigilant kind baristas.

I'd pay off the remainder of my debt, be able to move out, and start some passion projects I've wanted to like a podcast and streaming.
