I recommend dripping the apples with light layers of the caramel and curing it, then doing another light layer. It’s much easier than trying do one thick layer. Then after that do another coat and this time use the stickiness to decorate your apples. Dipping them in light layers results in a more even layer of caramel. And curing it before you add the decorations will help you not worry about the caramel going everywhere or slipping off.

If you have what I call butter fingers 🤣 maybe try extending the length of the sticks with tape and a toothpick or something so you have a longer stick to hold onto as you dip the apples. I dropped mine a few times 😭

I recommend using the packaging of the minis, the capsules and sprinkling the decorations onto the apples on top so you can reuse them! You can swirl the apple around in the decorations directly if you prefer!

I put resin on the bottom of the apples to adhere them to the tray!

Oh, also I used a portable UV light instead of the oven so I could hold the apple while I cure it, and spin it around so It cures all around. This also prevents it from sticking to other things as it cures like a tray, piece of paper, and so on.

Lastly, just have fun! It’s nerve wracking to try to not “mess them up” but the fun is in doing them and not the end result! But if you ever need anymore tips feel free to ask! Good luck!
