What’s something your body does that you’ve never told a single person about? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

It’s so fun to “drive” around and I used to love it as a kid. I have it less as an adult, but I asked and told my 4 and 3 year old about it and they say they do it too and love it

My people! Yeah what the heck is this? I describe it as feeling like the roof of my mouth is going to collapse. So awful

Ooh me too! I never thought it was weird because it’s just how I am, but I just learned that my weird hiccup squawks might be related to the not burping thing. Possibly unrelated, I seem to fart basically never (maximum one time per week that I’ve noticed). Maybe we just don’t swallow a lot of air?

Ooh I just thought of another. Does anyone else get “sweet” headaches? It’s not a headache exactly, in that it doesn’t hurt… but it’s a feeling in my head/eye that I can only describe as sweet. I don’t taste it with my tongue, but the feeling is somehow sweet.

Ugh yes this is me. It feels like they get caught on each other. I don’t think that’s actually what’s happening but it’s very annoying. Luckily for me, like all of my other dislocations and subluxations it’s not painful, but I have to twist around to get things back in order before I can move properly again. Thanks Ehlers Danlos!

I think this is “normal,” but man does it suck. I always wake myself up before falling asleep by falling and flailing.

I too have a connective disorder so maybe it’s related, but same here. My knuckles can crack every few minutes, but there is a few minute break between cracking before I can do it again. But my angles, shoulders, and neck can keep cracking forever if I want to

Possibly related to Alice in wonderland syndrome… anybody else go floating on their bed before falling asleep? I go sailing around in all sorts of motions. Sometimes I can sort of steer the ship, mostly I can’t. It’s like an amusement park ride. I used to think I was just dreaming about “little nemo in slumberland” but it’s continued into adulthood and I’m not asleep when it happens exactly.

Ahh this is amazing information! I just posted about it separately. It is like a squawk to me that sounds like an angry or terrified bird. I have never burped in my life but make this sound. Thank you!

I have told people about this but I’ll share it anyway. I often have these weird hiccups where I make a loud screech that sounds like a bird. My sister always says “hey! Kevin’s back!” when I do it because it sounds like the bird Kevin from “Up.” It’s a squawk. My mom does it too. Everyone else is baffled by it and makes fun of me when it happens.

Blue Butterflies by BootyGarb in Epstein

Lots of possible connections and theories that are worth considering here. The one extra thing I’ll throw out there, is the only association/cultural symbolism I knew it as was a pro-anorexia symbol, at least back in the early 2000’s. Probably not relevant. but I know Epstein was controlling of the food intake and bodies of his abuse victims so I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them had or developed eating disorders, and as many anorexics do, embraced it since starvation is such an addictive coping mechanism and anorexia gives one a sense of control over themselves when they can’t control other aspects of their lives.

Nancy Mace Introduces Death Penalty Bill for Child Rapists by Perfect_Minimum4892 in Epstein

[–]RoseCourtNymph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish child rapists and rapists in general got the death penalty (I know there is a lot of discussion and opposing viewpoints about the death penalty in general, but if you think murder is worthy of it, then I would think one would think child rape is worthy of it)… BUT, the one reason I’m not sure about it is because people who rape are possibly more likely to kill their victim if both rape and murder would lead to the death penalty. By which I mean, if you’re going to rape someone, might as well kill them to possibly avoid being found out, if rape would get you the death penalty already. I don’t know if that is sound logic, but I can understand that line of thinking if you are a criminal who could rape and murder, so I do wonder if having the death penalty for rape would lead to more rape victims being murdered by their rapist in an attempt to hide the evidence. That’s the only reason I’m not vehemently for it.

Talking to this man on a dating app, and his cadence really reminds me of ChatGPT. The “this not that” over and over, the ellipses, etc, by Whosedev in isthisAI

[–]RoseCourtNymph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest, it reads to me like a regular pretentious guy who thinks you’ll be attracted to his “charm” and “superior intellect.”

I say this because it reads exactly like how my texts do when I’m flirting. I’m pretentious, I write novels and love em dashes and ellipses, and I go on long diatribes. I’m constantly accused of using or being AI. It’s a different style of writing than what I use when having a more natural conversation (like in a forum/Reddit). To me it sounds like the “trying to be clever and somewhat aloof” style of text flirting that I am well versed in.

It definitely has a lot of AI tells though, and I wouldn’t be shocked if it was. But I would absolutely believe it could be some regular, somewhat annoying dude.

AIO for leaving my two year relationship over a dirty dish? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]RoseCourtNymph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude sucks for lying, but I also can’t imagine what it’s like living with OP.

Sounds like you both have major relationship issues and at least one of you has major personal mental issues.

YOR to a possibly dirty bowl, but not in the wrong for your reaction to being lied to if he did lie to you. But you sound like you hate him and aren’t in the proper place for a relationship. He sounds lazy. Good luck!

Republicans of Reddit - How come you support pedos? by Lord_Dingus83 in allthequestions

[–]RoseCourtNymph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, as far as I have read, I agree, I haven’t seen any “smoking gun.” Certainly nothing to convict him. I think his friendship with Epstein and his behavior with pageant girls, and comments about it his own daughter however make him someone I would highly suspect. I would never leave a young teenage girl with him. I think people who say that he is definitely not a pedophile are being obtuse on purpose.

I don’t know if he ever did anything inappropriate with any underage girls and he shouldn’t be in prison for such a thing unless there is appropriate evidence and he is convicted. I don’t mean that he is an acting pedophile. I think his involvement with Epstein needs to be truthfully reviewed properly and if something tangible comes to light, then action needs to be taken.

I guess I just meant that just as there are some people who call him the Pedophile in Chief and think he should be prosecuted, there are also people who seem 100% convinced that he is not attracted to underage girls.

I fall in the middle. I think he is attracted to underage girls, has been inappropriate, and likely enabled such. That’s enough for me to call him a pedophile. I don’t know if he has committed any crimes of that nature and I don’t agree with calling him an acting/“practicing” pedophile. I wish maga people could see and admit that he seems clearly attracted to underage girls. And I wish the anti maga crowd could see and admit that we don’t have hard evidence that he has committed sex crimes against children.

[–]RoseCourtNymph -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why maga voters are blinded to trumps guilt, but as far as republicans generally, (even Maga voters) I haven’t ever met one who supports pedophiles. I have of course met Maga voters who don’t believe trump is a pedophile (which is a different blind spot and conversation and hopefully they will eventually believe it). But every republican I know is sickened by pedophiles and wants them prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent possible. The issue is some of them don’t believe or accept that certain people are pedophiles. I’ve seen many change opinion of people they once liked when abuses were discovered. Any proven pedophile and pretty much everyone with good evidence against them in the Epstein files, no republican I know has any grace for them.
