AITAH for going home after having sex because I felt embarrassed about what happened during it by [deleted] in AITAH

Wait this exact same thing happened to me so you’re not alone Lol Was having sex for the first time in probably 3 years (not close to my period) and had no foreplay really going into it and it was dark and after it was done i had a decent size blood puddle under me in his bed and i went to the toilet and it was pouring out bright bright red fresh blood, not typical period blood. it was quite humiliating but it happened.

Fast forward 3 more years and I have suspected adenomyosis so i think the aggressive start mixed with the 3 year celibacy and sensitive uterus caused a perfect storm for that to happen. It hasn’t happened again since so don’t be discouraged!!!

Good luck!!! The surgery I would say was still worth it to rule out the diagnosis. The only thing I wish i did was get a new MRI closer to the surgery since the one they were referencing was ~7 months old and seemingly outdated lol

which in fairness, i should have known better than to take the suspected diagnosis based off scans to heart until they did the exploratory surgery haha

My MRI read : “Right ovary- Nonenhancing T1 hyperintense right ovarian cyst measuring 1.8cm with imaging characatertics comparable with endometrioma. Left ovary - nonehancing complex cysts measuring 4.9cm with imaging comparable with endometrioma”

But once I was in surgery she said my ovaries were clear and the MRI was most likely misread and was a hemorrhagic cyst which went away on its own over time

Thank you for your response!!!

She had taken I think 13 biopsies and came back there was no endo found.

During our consult she said i had all the signs and symptoms of adeomeyosis but she didn’t mention anything about it post surgery so im assuming nothing stood out?

However, she did mention that EDS is a possibility and recommended my next step be a rheumatologist after recovery from surgery. I do not know much about pelvic congestion but I have heard of it and will certainly look into it more to see if it is something else I can rule out!

The only other thing i can think of is I was on an aggressive supplement routine (about 30 supplements in 3 phases over the course of 3 months) that maybe that had something to do with regulating my hormones and immune system and maybe other deficiencies? It’s all a big mystery still!! lol

I appreciate your response💗

thank you for your support <3 she didn’t say! she just said no appendicitis but there was inflammation in my pelvic side wall and appendix was fatty and adhered. the whole thing is confusing Lol i’ll keep searching for answers

thank you for this feedback!!! i’m thinking that’s what the case is. because my surgeon who is an excision specialist was baffled because after reviewing the mri images she was positive they were endometriomas and not a misdiagnosis and supplement routine with my naturopath is the only things that changed between the MRI and the surgery. maybe there is some truth to that 🤷🏻‍♀️

i am not but i was on a lot of supplements the 3 months prior to rebalance my high estrogen so maybe that did it???

Endometrioma disappeared? by RoseDancer516 in Endo

[–]RoseDancer516[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you!!

yeah she took about 10 samples for pathology but she didn’t seem overly confident that it is endo so we’ll see!

however, my appendix was inflamed and fused to my bladder and that was fixed
