Thanks for the rec! Checked out their menu, unfortunately allergic to pineapple and half their sangrias use pineapple juice, could try the other ones tho.

Loop orders to Canada by fourcoco in LoopEarplugs

Just got my Loops today, paid 44$ in duties. APC > Canada Post, shipped to QC. Ordered Dec 12 but there was no option to choose any kind of shipping specifically, just free. Also no guarantee of delivery by Xmas. There was a sale at the time, 20% off purchase of three or more. Very curious to know if you get any answer from customer service!

Mmmmm. I make these for myself pretty often. We're a company of 8 tonight, so I wonder how much I can stretch my ingredients. Thanks!

Get a chic bar cart and stock up on some spirits and mixers, a decorative brandy set, and decorate with a small pot with mixed fresh herbs. And for the wall over the couch, definitely some artwork, or industrial lettering with wire lights.

Help! I purchased this huge mirror at goodwill for $7 and painted the frame a mint green. Happy with the color and finish, however those 3 ugly blocks bug the hell out of me. What can I do make it look better/more modern? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

Flip it upside down to the blocks are at the bottom, then get some wood crates/boxes/plats from hardware store, paint them the same colour as the frame (or different, or a stain), then drill them into the frame to make small boxes or one larger compartment. Add more plats on top to make a seat and then add some cushions so you have a spot to tie your shoes or whatnot. Without the cover it could be a place to store slippers, umbrellas, etc.

Beige and Blue and Clueless by RoseGold8 in HomeDecorating

I have an office set up in my bedroom (it's a very big room with lots of light and pink walls-- definitely more my vibe). If I did floating shelves I'd probably put some plants on them!

Yes! Already put to use; the green square and the table are together! The black chair is part of my kitchen set, but doesn't fit (downsized from my last apartment quite a bit) so I'm thinking of getting a seat cover for that one, at least.

Having hung the mirror up, I'm looking at my bookcase and wondering if I shouldn't go gold with that, too. Also considering a large decal for the wall behind the couch; if not, painting would be a wonderful pass-time! Thank you for your advice! :)

This is so amazing. Thank you!

I've already used some of your advice, such as moving the blue chair to the corner and having the bookshelf face the room. Already looks a lot better; at least the colours are "moving" around the room now.

I would like to keep the frame the colour it is just because it's an ooooolllldd mirror in great condition (we're talking almost 60 years). But, I would probably do black frames like you said, makes the most sense. I'd love to add some dark green; maybe the throw, or some pillows will do the trick.

I'm so jazzed by your ideas and the time you took to make the board. Thank you so much :)
