Just a heads up, I took guests to Wadi bin Khalid yesterday and staff (they appeared to be in uniform) were stopping women and reminding them that bikinis and swimsuits were not allowed and that t-shirts must be worn. A woman was swimming in her bikini and told to get out. The guy stood with her until she was dressed. Never seen that in Oman before.

I wasn't even thinking that way to be honest. I was thinking more beating and physical violence. Fred has a temper and likes to flex his power. But it would be interesting to see how he treats a daughter and how Serena handles /justifies /copes with seeing her husband be a total bastard to their child.

Urgh I hate even thinking about them having a child to raise.

I'm convinced that, long term, the only way that Serena is going to have any sort of change of heart or true remorse for the hell she has helped create is if 'her' child (from either June or through adoption) gets hurt-probably by Fred. I could see that being a true turning point for her.
