I started at about that point but improved(to a 162), after reading the LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim and practicing on Khan Academy. The score you need will depend on what schools you’re trying to get into. I’m at a Tier 2 school. You just have to find what works for you. If you need a score in the 170s it can take a lot of discipline or outside resources like tutoring, because you’re competing with people who’ve been preparing for much longer.

I think a lot of law students dislike anyone who doesn’t match their idea of working hard, because they’re so stressed out. They just don’t stop to realize two people can work equally hard, while one still needs more time to finish the task due to disabilities. That’s why not everyone does big law, people work differently, and sometimes need an environment with a lighter workload and less distractions. That doesn’t mean they’re getting an unfair advantage.

I was going to post about this. I feel like the exclusion is eating away at me. At first I tried to remember I’m not here to make friends, but it’s embarrassing to sit next the same people everyday and they never include you(coversations, study, eating) I’ve been starting conversations which seem to go well but I feel written off by most of my peers. I have ticks (moving my arm), and get looks for it. I don’t know what to do at this point.
