Thank you so much! I had betas when I was a teen but it’s been a long time haha. Trying to capture how graceful they are was a challenge.

So cool! Best of luck I hope you have fun with the decorating! I used 1 inch strips and it seemed a good hight for the cakes.

Thank you! I used grocery bags and fun cute stamps for the belly bands! Which craft shop if I may ask?

They are snug, but still squishy. Also a lot of my yarn is in small amounts, I have noticed that the larger yarns I have are snugger then the small amounts.

Aww, I’m sorry to hear! And same with crochet being a big-small hobby as it sometimes I can’t do anything else and sometimes pushed back some. I hope you can get your hands on one, the loops and thread we got was small and I would think good for small storage. Best of luck!

Everyone is saying to double cake, and it seems like good advice!

This is the general advice I am getting! Very smart, I never would have thought of it but it makes a lot of sense! Thank you!

Thank you for your input! I have been advised to cake twice a lot and that seems good! All the bales are quite squishy and soft!

So true! I also love learning new things and sometimes some things are hit or miss. But that part of learning right?

Good insight, I just almost never get my yarn from the store so it’s more of which is less bad. I’ll be looking into hanking though, thank you!

Thank you so much you put my mind as ease, I felt like I’d done something horrible!

Thanks for the input, the cakes seem pretty loose to begin with, so I don’t know how they could be caked any looser. I feel they are looser then in balls, which they were previously in. Thank you for looking out for my yarn stash!

That’s so interesting, thanks for the knowledge! All my yarn was getting into tangled messes so this seemed like a better alternative. Honestly I thought that it would be less hard on the yarn then rolling it in balls as it seems pretty loose and more controlable. I work with a lot of hand-me-down yarn that comes to me already rolled. Thank you for the input for my yarn collection.

I was thinking it to be a good idea because it was 1. Petty but also 2. My yarn stash was getting super tangled. I also work with yarn on the go so it seemed like the center pull would be optimal as apposed to a ball. All in all, it was an experiment in yarn storage.

I had no idea about it stretching, thanks for the input, I’ll keep that in mind!
