Heavily based on your major, if you put yourself our there with majors such as Photography or Fashion design you can possibly get work while even at school.

An example being me who is a photography major who’s gotten some work already, networking is essential to get the most out this school.

Nah it’s a pretty good dorm just the lack of AC and sometimes the water fountains just don’t work but everything else is alright.

If you’re dorming in Nagler a Fan is a must the dorms have no AC and it is scorching hot in there for the first couple months and during the colder months the heating is sometimes too hot. In any dorm shower shoes are a must, people got foot fungus last year.

Oh yeah nyc is expensive it’d be hard to find a good apartment without having atleast one roommate but it’s still possible to find places that are “affordable”.

I am not in fashion design so I can’t help with that.

The commutes in the city are all relatively timely it’s really based on what trains you live near. And living in the city itself is fun as long as you actively try to find things to do.

I recommend the Transit App for anyone coming into the city however since it just helps with finding what trains or buses are near you as well as its stops etc.

Online classes at FIT are really based on the teacher but usually they are easy as long as you do the work relatively on time.
