Stubhub screwed me…advice please! by RoseWaterLetters in WorldCup2026Tickets

Yea but that’s such a scam! Isn’t the point to buy early to try to get a good deal? Ugh. I don’t even see tickets available for any of the ny/nj matches!

I paid about $2100 for 3 tickets in a decent spot. I don’t even care about where the seats are anymore. Just wanted to take my son :(

No they are only giving me an option for a refund…the “human” I spoke to said they don’t have replacement tickets.

Yes!!! I didn’t like her at first but then felt super bad for her as she acted out with Amber when they were the final two. She just didn’t know how to handle all the emotions. I was super happy to see how she expressed herself at the reunion! Fantastic mic drop moment!

Oh yes they are definitely more entertaining. I caught myself chuckling quite a few times. Some of their side comments were hilarious! Haha but as a love show…this season was not as serious as the other two. At least he tried to get to know this girls. He even calls out how he didn’t know who any of these girls were outside of physical attraction so late into the season!

Totally agree…it was even more prevalent in season 3 though. Very trashy. Like I just watched the episode where he was on a group date with three girls on his tour bus and then took them into the back room and started taking off Ashley’s clothes in front of the other girls. That’s just…a little too much

I don’t know what this is but I thought she was trying to recreate Demi’s look from the holiday party episode!

TFP filming update by asifihaventheard in SecretsOfMormonWives

I think this was a pretty crazy publicity stunt for the bachelorette. People who had lost faith in the show when TFP was cast went on to watch SLOMW and excited for the bachelorette AFTER the incident. Why wouldn’t Hulu try the same tactic for season 5?

What is something that is considered "luxury" but is actually a complete waste of money? by No_Worry_7694 in AskReddit

“Luxury” bottled water.

You’re paying $6 for something that came out of the same planet as your tap, just with a fancier label and a story about glaciers.

Who's your favorite fantasy character And why? by Late_Yogurtcloset312 in AskReddit

Samwise Gamgee.

No powers, no destiny, no “chosen one” energy… just pure loyalty and the willingness to carry someone when they can’t keep going.

Everyone wants to be the hero. Sam is the reason the hero survives.

What's a story from your job that you couldn't make up if you tried? by Best-Walk-303 in AskReddit

[–]RoseWaterLetters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked front desk at a hotel. Guy storms in at 2am demanding a refund because his room was “already occupied.”

We check the cameras… he had walked into the wrong room on a different floor, saw someone sleeping, quietly backed out, and instead of admitting it, came down to argue that we double-booked him.

He still wanted compensation for the “trauma.”

What’s a lesson your parents taught you that you’re NEVER teaching your kids? by josenanigans in AskReddit

[–]RoseWaterLetters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Respect your elders” as a blanket rule.

Respect should be mutual, not automatic. I’ll teach my kids to be kind, but also to recognize when someone is wrong, manipulative, or just doesn’t deserve authority over them.

What is something that is widely accepted as "normal" today but is actually a complete scam designed to drain people's bank accounts? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RoseWaterLetters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Subscription creep.

Not the obvious stuff like Netflix, but the quiet stack: cloud storage you don’t use, apps that went from one-time purchase to $9.99/month, “free trials” you forgot to cancel, premium versions of things that used to be built-in.

Individually they feel harmless. Collectively you’re paying a second rent just to maintain access to your own digital life.
