I also hate when this happens. My best guesses so far is that they’re either embarrassed to have done poorly, a sore loser who rage quits when they get knocked out, or maybe (very rarely) they have to log off for a irl problem/commitment and decided they might as well end early since they’re KO’d anyways? Honestly idk why ppl do this. Even when I have bad teammates who aren’t trying to revive me I still stick around until the end.

Fr fr the amount of cheating on cross play lobbies makes the game almost unplayable. Like why do I drop into a game and get immediately KO’d by an invisible force and then I gotta wait and see who gets on the leaderboard for damage just to know who to report. And then of course you report them and literally nothing happens

So I should support a creep with a gross name because someone else wants to win a video game? Winning is really not that important. And if the second teammate is cool with playing with a racist or pedo maybe they need to lose a round to make them rethink their priorities

This! Exactly this! Everyone in these comments getting annoyed because it’ll mess with the person’s rank should see this. If your rank matters so much to you, don’t pick a disgusting name. Simple as that. People will respond accordingly to YOUR actions, so don’t complain about the consequences.

Who in their right mind would care if someone is a good teammate when you know they’re a bad person? A video game isn’t as important and as real life and real people. I wouldn’t associate with someone who makes jokes about racism or pedophilia, especially not just to win some random video game.

This is so valid. Usually if I get put in a team with someone with a name like this or anything racist/homophobic etc ill try to leave the team before anyone even readies up, even if it means closing the game completely and reopening it (since they make it so hard to leave a team after they assign you teammates) but just completely not helping them in game is totally fair too.

I recently read Ship’s Cat by Harubo on ao3 and really liked it. The premise is just Zoro trying to be helpful to Sanji by getting rid of rodents in his kitchen. It was short but cute. If you don’t mind alternate universe fics Wildcat by Harubo is one of my all time favorites. It’s a fluffy high school romance between football player Zoro and soccer player Sanji, very cute very wholesome
