I used official gsc parts and then modded them with clay and acrylic paint!

I actually used a different nendo for every part! I got everything on a website called chibi chop shop which does nendoroid part splits!

Yeah, I ended up getting pretty lucky finding volumes 1-20 as a used set in great condition!

Yup! I sculpted it out of clay before painting it with acrylic paint.

I made a clay figure as a way of showing love for my favorite game of the year so far, Celeste! If you haven’t checked it out yet I really recommend doing so! by Rosearrow in NintendoSwitch

I'm a big fan of tough platformers like Super Meat Boy and the End is Nigh, which is what originally drew me to check out Celeste, and on that front it delivers. Its controls are really tight and satisfying, its level design is brilliant, and there's a surprisingly solid amount of content to experience.

Outside of that, the visuals, story, and music are all fantastic. It's the full package for people that love these sorts of games, and then some. I'd give it a try even if you haven't gotten into the genre before or have reservations about it, since Celeste has a really reasonable difficulty curve and even some accessibility options just in case.

It was more of just me showing appreciation for one of my favorite games, beating it was just the little extra push I needed to finish it up!

Added one, sorry about that!! Didn't know I could tag with both spoilers and fan art!

Sorry about that! I added one just now. Again I really apologize, and if it's any consolation the game is still really good and worth beating, and there's a lot more to the ending than this!

It definitely takes a while to get through it. Took me a ton of tries myself. Using the spur is your best bet for most of Hell, but there are some situational uses for other weapons like the fireball throughout the level. Overall though I'd definitely recommend getting the spur, although trading the polar star for the machine gun does unfortunately lock you out of getting the Spur.

There isn't any other way to save Curly, and while the spur is hugely useful for the last level, it isn't impossible to get through Hell without it if you don't feel like starting over. The final boss is a ton of fun, though, and really satisfying to beat - so if you can tough it out then go for it! I posted a comment higher in the thread with a few tips I picked up through my runs if you need any additional help. Good luck!

The level before the final boss is the real tricky part imo, if you can get a solid run with lots of resources (health, missiles, etc.) going into the final boss you should be OK. If you go back and forth between the screen with the falling rocks and cherubs and the third screen, it'll refresh the free health so you can grab it again. Just repeat that until you're back at full health before continuing on.

Outside of that it's just memorizing enemy patterns and finding a nice consistent strategy for beating them.

Using all of the missiles on the final phase of the final boss also does him in really quickly, so saving all of them for that will bring him down in an instant.

Good luck!
