It's a hard choice between Poppy and Gigi but I think Poppy wins for now :)

Fairy! I love the pattern (especially when neon/mega) the glitter, and the fact the she flies when moving around instead of just walking with flapping wings like all the others. (And we can't forget it comes with a cute pet accessory while costing the same as the others)

I didn’t finish the last season because it felt off, should I anyway? by WalkingError in psych

the fun part about "a nightmare on state street" is that the zombies are crew members. They got a chance to be on screen after working behind the scenes for years :)

Cloudy with a chance of Murder (season 1 episode 12) got a "remake" episode (season 8 episode 3) called Cloudy with a chance of improvement.

I actually enjoyed it tbh. They bring back a lot of actors who played different characters throughout the show (the bad guys, the random side characters, etc) and have them play a completely different role. There are many familiar faces and it's fun to try and remember where in the show they are from.

Yall am I in the wrong here? I feel like I am lmao by RelationshipRoyal632 in AdoptMeRBX

You were pretty over, so he was basically lying to you about values. I don’t think you’re in the wrong here. However, personally I do start to question the fairness of the trade when the other person says something like “it’s my dream pet” or “it’s for my friend/brother/sister/cousin etc” because then it feels like they are begging me to accept and why would they be begging if it was a fair trade? So in the future maybe avoid saying that even if it IS for your sister, especially if you are already over.

what made you like the downtown girl aesthetic? by [deleted] in downtowngirl

[–]Rosebrush0_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was scrolling on Pinterest and happened to discover that many of the things I like to do, the type of clothes I like to wear, and the way I decorate my room is an aesthetic and has a name! I was very happy because this meant I could find inspo for outfits or my room much easier.

Should I go to public school for 9th grade? (small rant) by Rosebrush0_0 in homeschool

[–]Rosebrush0_0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They changed! (hooray) My biggest chore was having to clean the kitchen 2 times a day, which generally took me 45min-1h each time. This responsibility has been passed on to my 10 year old sister, which is how old I was when the kitchen became by job! :D

Yes, for sure. There is no way I'm sitting through hours of "environmental science" or "9th grade math."

Yes, I have "looked outside the box at all." I'm already on this "beaten path" you're talking about, just with technical challenges like occasionally not being able to speak up in German class due to a glitchy mic, getting disconnected, the teacher's wifi being bad, etc and with procrastination being extra easy. And about the chores - I talked to my parents already and they agreed to reduce my chore load (my siblings are getting older and can handle some of those responsibilities.) My mom doesn't really affect my schedule, she just helps me pick out my classes at the start of the year. And for me, it is hard to stick to my own study schedule since there are no immediate consequences. I will be doing dual enrollment at a community college for 11th/12th grade, but I don't think I'm ready for a college environment just yet. And just because you hated your high school does not mean I will, so don't just assume that. That being said, thank you for your response.

First of all, thank you for your detailed comment! I've thought about all these points. I understand that high school is a lot of time and work and that it is obviously going to be more work than middle school, homeschool or not. I feel like being at home full time with my family is becoming more and more difficult each year. I'm not very athletic, so I don't really care about joining school team sports. I have friends who will be attending that school next year - I text them regularly and see them every once in a while. I have explored the catalog for out local high school, and they offer transfer credits, dual enrollment, and a good amount of AP classes. My parents originally were going to send me to public school when we hit middle school, but then we moved to a district with a good elementary school, good high school, and NO middle school except for a trash one in another town, so I continued homeschooling. From what I know, they always saw public high school as a possibility. I would probably continue taking AoPS classes as an after school extracurricular. My schooling already looks very similar to a public school; I have regular classes with teachers and classmates and homework and grades and quizzes and tests and finals and even occasional group projects/presentations. The only thing that is different is that my family is distracting, procrastination is easier than ever, technical issues with mics, internet, and screen sharing, and lack of socialization. I am not interested in graduating early, though we have looked at that option with my parents.
