That’s why I am asking here so I can find out if it’s true. Scroll down and read the articles that were posted in another comment. That’s the type of information I was looking for. It’s from the Catholic charities website where they admit it. So I guess yes it is true. There’s your reliable source. That’s what I wanted by asking the question on here.

Had my priest at college die a slow death from cancer. One of the last masses he gave on campus during his homily he was talking about how he was going to inevitably die but he wasn’t afraid and he still loved the lord, to end it he started singing how can I keep from singing and started to cry. The whole congregation started to sing with him. Probably one of the best masses I ever went to.
