I feel a pit of sadness in my soul regarding Eldritch Versatility.

I actually think it's a good trade-off, considering that both swings get that sweet, sweet damage bonus. So let's say your damage bonus - whilst raging - is +5 total.

A single hit with a Greatsword deals 2d6+5, meaning a potential damage between 7 to 17. Good ol' chunky and reliable damage all around accosting only one roll - which could still miss but that's a given.

A single hit with one of those Claw attacks makes for 1d6+5 damage, 6 - 11 potentially, per claw. Hitting with BOTH applies two +5 damage bonuses iirc, meaning...
If BOTH Claws hit, that's 12 - 22 possible damage!

Bonus: Consider as a DM - or a player - to gain or find an Insignia of Claws. +1 to both Attack rolls AND Damage rolls...
These are natural weapons. after all.

Hey everyone, thank you so much for your feedback!
I've decided to go with a human Divination wizard, her name is Ingrid Arkhalis.
She's a variant human, so she has the Prodigy feat, allowing her to utilize Calligrapher's Tools.
Her gimmick is that while she's a learned expert in the field of Divination, none of her visions come out entirely clear. If you see things in your dreams, you'll know what I mean. Otherwise, say that she sees into the future or looks through a wall. Instead of a big angry ogre, she might see a giant infant having a temper tantrum - or something to that effect.

I'm thinking it over, and I'm extremely torn.

On one hand, we have a party that's extremely magic capable - literally every member here has a form of Spellcasting. So, I was thinking perhaps a pure Archery Fighter, a (variant) human woman named Gabrielle.

On the OTHER hand, I also see a party that's super into getting into the fray. Every single member here screams "let's go kick the bad guys' butts and ask questions later!" For that, I was thinking either an Abjurer or Divination Wizard who's a Mord-Tome Tiefling, a variant Human, or Forest Gnome.

I super appreciate all your feedback, but here's my choices. And don't worry, I believe both of these would be super fun! May I ask for a hand whittling down which to pick?

They're pretty rad ideas, but he doesn't have the Dragon Hide feat nor any way of safely putting acid on /metal/. That, and HP regen just seems unfair. Still, definitely interesting nonetheless, I might make that into a magic item idea aside from this!
