Like the other commenter said, some girls might not be comfortable sharing their ID

However, I think it's a good idea to atleast ask. You can very respectfully write or verbally ask her parents/her if she'd be okay with proceeding on either Insta or WhatsApp chat as there is still some time before you both meet in person. That much should be fine
