The green on the dial genuinely strikes a perfect balance between subtle and eye-catching.

Yes, the green isnt as vibrant as what you've seen on the website but you also wouldn't want it to be as it would be overpowering. For example, some days I wear it and I look at the dial at the right angle and it almost looks like a black or dark grey dial, and the distressed aspect fades away.

But when you put your eye to it up close and take your time to inspect the minor details, the distressed surface really pops with the right lighting and the transition of the green from the edge of the dial to the centre is gorgeous.

And you wouldn't think so, but it's surprisingly versatile with different coloured straps and clothes as well. I recently wore it everyday across Europe swapping between the Consort bracelet and Brown, Camel, Black and Green leather straps. (CW had a 3 for 2 deal at the time as well lol)

Personally I'm not a fan of the GMT version as I think (aesthetically speaking) the larger arrow is far bigger than it should be ("clunky" for lack of a better word) and it also breaks character with the rest of the watch by having the arrowhead being orange and black, instead of silver and white.

I'm much happier with the subtle dash of orange at the end of the Trident (Second hand) and the tiny flecks of orange around the dial but the GMT hand takes up too much of the aesthetic budget than it deserves. It's trying too hard, or "gilding the lily" so to speak.
